Sign-in
Twitch
Turn on Sign in with Twitch.
Users sign in with their Twitch account. Auto Tournament asks Twitch for no extra scopes: it only reads the account id, name and picture. See Sign-in providers for how accounts and admin access work.
Register an application
- Open the Twitch Developer Console and sign in (Twitch asks you to turn on two-factor authentication first).
- Click Register Your Application.
- Enter a name, for example
Auto Tournament. - Under OAuth Redirect URLs, paste the callback URL from Settings → Sign-in → Twitch in Auto Tournament. It looks like
https://tournament.example.com/api/auth/twitch/callback. - Category: Website Integration. Client type: Confidential. Click Create.
- Click Manage, copy the Client ID, then click New Secret and copy the Client Secret.
Turn it on in Auto Tournament
In Settings → Sign-in → Twitch, paste the Client ID and Client Secret, turn it on and save. The Sign in with Twitch button appears on the login page right away.
Prefer environment variables? Set AUTH_TWITCH_ENABLED=true, TWITCH_CLIENT_ID and TWITCH_CLIENT_SECRET and restart. They are imported once.
Test it
Open /login in a private browser window and click Sign in with Twitch. If Twitch answers "redirect_mismatch", the OAuth Redirect URL does not match the callback URL shown in Settings exactly.
